As part of the process of setting up and stabilizing our new WoM SMP server, I managed to keep bumping into areas of the world that for some reason just hadn’t loaded. Being relatively new to SMP servers, I was shocked that people just accepted that this happens and when it does, you just reconnect to the server and it’s all fine again.

Anyhow I had a look at the code to see if I could find out what was going on to cause this issue and stop it from happening on WoM SMP. I managed to find a fix for the issue, and if anyone is running a vanilla server and wants to get rid of missing chunks forever, just grab the mod, and replace le.class in your minecraft_server.jar with the new one in the linked zip file.
