This is a quick patch fix for the Arrow crash bug in the Minecraft SMP server. The bug results in an error like:
[SEVERE] Unexpected exception
java.lang.NullPointerException
at ll.o_(SourceFile:128)
at dh.a(SourceFile:1160)
at dn.a(SourceFile:43)
at dh.g(SourceFile:1136)
at dh.e(SourceFile:1115)
at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.h(SourceFile:374)
at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(SourceFile:307)
at bo.run(SourceFile:422)
If you get this bug and your server crashes, it’s because someone fired an arrow into a burning block and the arrow is now sticking in mid-air. The server then crashes every time it loads the chunk with the stranded arrow.
The linked file contains a replacement ll.class. If you know how to replace your class files in minecraft, this new ll.class will check for stranded arrows thus avoiding the crash. If you’re standing close, and see the stranded arrows, your client will still crash, but by the time you reconnect the server will have dropped the arrows to the ground and all will be right with the world once again.
The WoM Realms contest has now been officially judged. During building, all participants gained 90x building bonus for any building performed on their contest worlds.
Of the 14 entrants who made entries on the forum post, there were 8 finalists chosen:
Each of the finalists received 250k bonus reputation points for making it to the finals and from here, the judges each came into the realms and gave a vote from 1 to 10 for the realms, and an average score was taken.
We have now completed the tallying of the votes, with the following results:
Coming a tie for third place were Skyara and Imran_zulkafli with their respective entries “Runed Frost Wyrm” and “Behemoth”, each will get a prize of 1 million bonus points.
Coming in at second place was Artful with his entry “Mouh4x the orange eyed panda” who gets 2.5 million points.
And the winner of this months competition is Moufisto with his entry “Shadow Dragon” and gets the first place prize of 10 million bonus points.

There’s a new command on WoM Realms.
It’s a bit of a tricky one, so I thought I’d post up a bit of an explanation for you guys. The command is called mirror, and basically it does what it says. It mirrors whatever you do on one side of the region to the other side(s) of the region.
There’s 6 different modes, and they would do as you expect. They define which sides of the cuboid region get mirrored. The modes are: x, y, z, xy, xz, yz and xyz.
WoM Realms has just been moved to a newer, more powerful server farm at a new dedicated facility (at HE.net).
This is part of our long-term plans to keep upgrading our hosting platform to state of the art systems.
The new facility supports IPv6 internet and more, higher quality bandwidth as well.
This does however mean that our server ID has changed at minecraft.net, which means that anyone trying to connect to us via the resume or cache features in WoM Game Client will not be able to connect. You must either get a new Direct Connect url from the WoMRealms.com website, or do a full sign in via the server list.
WoM Realms is pleased to announce the first official contest.
Anyone is free to create a contest realm and to build something in it, however in order to enter this contest for judging you need to go to the forums and make an entry post at the following URL, and someone will come to your realm to judge it. If it’s good enough, it will get entered into the finals.
Make sure you visit the URL to view the contest rules before you start building!
We’ve just implemented character banners in WoM Realms.
To get your banner for your realm, just go to womrealms.com and login. Click the edit button on the player you want to get the banner for and it’s right there.
Here’s a quick example of what they look like; they contain your skin, rank, rep, stars, position, clan name etc, so you can show everyone how your realm is going.
A new version of the game client has been released with a secret new feature. I only made this version because moujave ordered me to, and he’s forsworn me to secrecy about the new feature. If you look hard you’ll be able to find it though!
I know I said that there would be no more releases for a while, but this is mainly a bug fix version that fixes a crashing bug when downloading a new texture while joining a realm.
Also it contains an incidental new feature that I’ve been working on. If you use it on WoM realms, you will see join and leave messages appear in a new alert area to the right of the screen.
If other server operators want to implement this new feature, you can send “^detail.user.*” messages to the client (once it has identified itself via /womid, see server.sendwomid parameter)
The following instructions exist:
^detail.user.reset
^detail.user.here=NAME
^detail.user.join=NAME
^detail.user.part=NAME
^detail.user.alert=TEXT
Respectively they, reset the internal user list, enter a user into the userlist without an alert, add and alert a user into the list, remove and alert a user from the list, and just send a text alert.
You may add colors to the NAME fields, but otherwise the name should be the exact name of the user without punctuation, as the client will later use these names for auto complete, teleporting, whispering, etc. (bit of a spoiler here for future features!)
There’s a new ability to share you uploaded textures with other WoM Realms users. Simply sign in to your WoM Realms control panel and view your uploaded textures on the main page,
Once logged in and if you have uploaded textures, there will be preview and share links beside each texture you have. Simply give the share link to anyone you want to be able to use your texture. It’s that easy.
Here’s my high resolution texture pack I use for my example videos (It’s based off Brown and Bloom):
To all the mothers out there; Have a really great Mother’s Day!
We’ve changed the text color in WoM Realms to be pink to remind you all that it’s Mother’s Day and to take some time off from playing minecraft during the day to spend some time around the house helping out your mother with some of the housework, let her have some time to put up her feet and relax, and tell her that you love her and appreciate everything she does for you, every day of the year.
